A shelter for a daydreamer

Maybe because it’s working day afternoon, inside of the bookstore was quiet. During the lunch time, it was good to be relaxed out of the work. Libro bookstore, Hongdae is just nearby my working place. My step was heading to the magazine corner for Cine21. The most interests of mine were the interview of directors, Park Chan Wook, Joon-ho Bong and Jee-woon Kim. Big three directors in Korea. The common thing of them is making film cooperation with the global film industries.

They said ; Sometimes they can feel the power of Hollywood, like just taking an airplane from one city to another in a few hours for casting celebrities. But it won’t last long. Toilsome task of films is same with in Korea. It took some time to adjust to the process of making films in Hollywood different. When they were getting close to the system, the film was finished. It was hard but worthy of doing it.

I’m fond of all of three directors’ works, but I don’t have much information about The Last Stand(Jee-woon Kim) or Snowpiercer(Joon-ho Bong) compared with Stoker(Park Chan Wook), all of them are films produced in Hollywood. Bon got Jamie Bell in his film. Awesome. I like him so much, especially when he was in Billy Elliot and Jumper.

3 horse chariot galloping to Hollywood looked energetic even though their distress among the strangers.

Happy daily.
